Woody's Smokehouse Northbound: Your Ultimate BBQ Destination on I-45

Best BBQ ! Was looking for dinner and decided to try this place. The food was absolutely delicious! Meat was fresh and juicy! Brisket is 10 out of 10! Sausage was great as well! Nice and big store. Clean restroom. People are nice and friendly.

We’re usually Shell or Exxon folks so when we stopped in Centerville and stumbled upon something special — Woody’s Smokehouse. What a find! We grabbed a quick brisket sandwich, browsed through their unique merchandise, and admired the rows of sausages and smoked meats. The jerky? Hands down some of the best I’ve had. The smoker out back sets the perfect atmosphere — that smell alone is worth the stop. Plenty of parking, clean restrooms, and a welcoming, small-town rustic vibe. Everyone we met was friendly, and it’s clear they take pride in what they do. We didn’t have much time but we’ll definitely be making Woody’s a regular stop on future trips to Houston. See y’all next time!

Can’t believe this is a gas station! I’m honestly blown away—this place has completely changed the way I see burgers. Their Wagyu Burger? Next-level. I don’t think I’ll ever look at a regular burger the same again. And the desserts… oh man, don’t even get me started. Just trust me, you need to try them. If you're anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in. Also—Woodys please, please move to Wisconsin! I need my Wagyu Burger!

Great food. Wonderful folks. Relaxing atmosphere. Lots of local products. Barbecue sauce hit the spot. Sweet tea could of been sweeter, but that's just how I prefer mine. Very clean and organized stop. I will be visiting again.

Found, Woody's by accident.I was surprised that I have never heard of this gem. This has to be the best smokehouse,restaurant and gas station on I45. Expansive and well planned deco.I was excited to see a huge variety of sauces,preserves and a huge variety of jelly variations. I did not try the Quail but it looked delicious .I also saw a gentleman with a half chicken that looked tasty and juicy I just got This place is worth the drive and not just to visit when on the road.This is a foodie's haven where you can explore this uniquely designed smokehouse. Very friendly helpful staff and it's oh so clean. This is now my official stopover when going to and from Houston.Forget Bucees as there are more value for money ears and service here .

The vibe here is great! Everyone is welcoming and helpful. The bbq food was okay. Brisket had too much fat on it. Potato Salad was good. The ribs were great! The price is expensive though. Their pickled carrot’s are delicious. Peach salsa is very sweet.

The brisket was dry, and it did not have the right color for brisket. The ribs are big and meaty, but they taste like something I can make at home. It did not have the smokey flavor. Prices are decent. Maybe we can give the burgers a try next time.

Been stoping here for years both sides of interstate, great food, good people and clean restrooms with lots of items in store, it is a must stop and if you have never been here you will not be disappointed!
